ATIA's mission is to enhance the professionalism of our members through their effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training and by identifying and satisfying the needs of the travelling public.  

 

The Australian Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) is an industry accreditation scheme that sets the benchmark of quality for the travel industry.  The accreditation scheme is open to all travel intermediaries.

Individual Membership is open to anyone connected with the travel industry.  Itconnection and belonging, along with unique industry insights  and discussion within a welcoming community of travel professionals

AFTA Education and Training (AFTA E&T), the training division of the Australian Travel Industry Association continues in its endeavours to provide the highest quality training to meet the skills needs of the travel industry.

ATIA runs a calendar of events, both in person and virtually, culminating in the industry's night of nights - the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA)

To increase the engagement of the membership, we have established three Caucuses that allw members to collaborate, network and define advocacy objectives.
