National Travel Industry Award enhancements, with nominations now open

Nominations for the awards open today and close 31 May via  Beginning this year, there will be additional benchmarks to the eligibility criteria for select categories.

On the advice of the NTIA Custodians, nominees for these criteria will need to demonstrate a minimum Total Transaction Value (TTV) in order to qualify.

Additionally, in order to deepen the evaluation process, finalists in the judged ATAS Accredited Business categories will have the opportunity to present their achievements directly to a panel of industry judges.  This increased interaction with the finalists will help the judges in making the most informed choice of Award recipients.

The 2024 awards will see the return of 35 celebrated categories, including the reintroduction of the ‘Most Outstanding Consumer Travel Journalist’ and ‘Most Outstanding Marketing Campaign’.

ATIA is also hosting the Beyond Borders summit on 25 October, the day before NTIA.  All individual tickets purchased this month will receive included individual ATIA membership:

“NTIA 2024 is going to be a dazzling celebration of excellence, innovation, and dedication to Travel.  These enhancements to the eligibility criteria are the result of feedback from our wonderful NTIA Custodians and reinforce the rigour of the judging process.”

“Nominations open today and close 31 May.  We encourage the industry to join us in honouring the highest standards of excellence in our industry by nominating the most outstanding professionals and businesses in Travel.”
